I dare say that many of us have been indoctrinated to a degree. It comes from years of living in a world filled with television “programs”. God warned us in the Bible to be careful about what we hear, what we see and what we speak. He also said that His people perish for a lack of knowledge. Is it just Biblical knowledge? I think not. I think we have allowed ourselves to be dumbed down so that as a whole, society is nothing more than useful idiots.
Oh? You don’t want to be called a useful idiot? Neither do I, but that is what society has geared us to be. The only way to change this is to unplug from the matrix and educate yourself. This means that you will have to read and research things out for yourself. This is the type of education that has to be worked for. It will not be served to you on a silver platter.
I cannot force you to believe anything. No one can. Well, at least not outright. They can only make you believe things that are only half truths or even lies if you allow it. So, how do you not allow it? You turn off the television. You stop ingesting their programming with your eyes and ears. Then you pick up some books and read.
What books you say? Well, your Bible is a good one to start with. If you don’t have one, get one. You will need to have a personal relationship with God from here on out if you want to truly live. Other books that you should read are Orwell’s 1984, Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, and books on the Constitution and civics.
In order to make changes that are necessary for the Republic to be saved, we must first get right with God. Having a personal relationship this Christ is an absolute necessity. Secondly, we must become the citizens we should be. We need to educate ourselves on how our government is supposed to work, what our responsibilities as citizens are and how to be effective in bringing about these necessary changes.
What changes do we need to our government? For one, going back to the Constitution and doing away with anything that takes away the God given rights of the citizens is a must. Term limits for all elected governmental positions need to be put into place. The idea of personal responsibility in all areas of life, both private and public, needs to be brought back to the forefront of society. Let’s hold each other accountable for our actions and our representatives as well. After all, we truly are our brothers’ (and sisters’) keepers.
In order for these changes to take place, everyone must stand up and become active with prayer, with speaking out for Christ and for our children and their future and with our local areas. The only way things will change is if we change and the only way we will truly change is if we let God take over. Let God lead you and your family into the future.
Get together with the spiritual leaders in your community and have a community dedication whereby the entire community comes together in repentance and humbly asks God to be the Lord of the community. If communities all over the country did this and stood firm in faith, then we can make positive changes for us, our children and even their great great grandchildren and beyond.
To God be ALL the glory.
