The Republic Needs YOU

What bonds people together? A common belief system? A common cause? A common interest? Bonding occurs best when things are held “in common”. People having the same or very similar likes and dislikes can act like glue. People with similarities will stick together more so than those who have absolutely nothing in common.

However, if that glue is not strong enough, things can still come apart at the seams. So, do we chuck everything out and give up? No. We make sure that the glue stays strong or gets stronger over time. How do we do this? This will take group effort. There are a lot of things that will help keep the glue strong.

One way to keep the glue strong is to reinforce it. We do this by acquiring and sharing knowledge and truth among the members of the group. There is strength in numbers, but numbers don’t do any good if they do not have the knowledge to back them up. Think of information (knowledge) as the skeletal structure of the organization. Without the knowledge and information to make wise choices, we are like a pile of flesh without structure. So, we need people who can research and who also know where to go to research.

This brings us to the next level of strengthening within. We need creatives from all areas. We need writers, actors, podcasters, artists, musicians and possibly even poets. We need those who can take the ideas and the knowledge and disseminate it in ways that will hold the attention of the general population. Look at what is in popular media today. That is what we are competing with. In order to gain the attention and the minds of the people, we have to inform them while still entertaining them. We live in a “cakes and circuses” society. Now we have flesh and ligaments and we can move among the masses.

Now we have to add the skin. We have to make the package attractive. How else will we get the attention of the masses who are still sleepy and have yet to start really seeing the truth of reality? This is going to be the hardest part because we all know that the truth can be quite ugly. We can make this happen. We just need to stay motivated.

The reason why it will be very hard for this to be done is that most of us are volunteers with limited time and resources with which to work. We cannot spend countless hours trying to find the information we need. It’s the setting up and the internal organization that will be what makes or breaks us. That skeletal structure has to be strong from the inside. Our greatest strength is only as strong as our weakest link.

So, for those of you who are research minded, I have a challenge for you. Get your great minds together and scour the internet. Make as comprehensive a database of information as you can that includes websites on any and every subject that we would need to help us make the case for our cause. Make sure they are reliable and that, when possible, they are apolitical. We need cold analytical facts without political bias. Remember, all data can be manipulated to prove a given bias. The left has been manipulating the media and buying politicians for years. We need to counter this measure for measure.

We may be coming to the game late, but that does not mean that we are by any means out. There is still time to run plays that will shift things into our favor. We just have to work together to get this done. If you have the time and the inclination to help, please consider volunteering with We need people of all backgrounds to step up and help out. Nothing is too small in the way of volunteering, even if you can only give a couple of hours here and there. If you love this country, if you love the Constitution, if you want your great great grandchildren to be able to walk and enjoy the freedoms of America, then you should be here, now, to help us in the fight to save our great republic.

My “to do” list to fix what’s broken is extensive. I know what needs to be said and how to say it. I want to participate, but I don’t know how to get in. There is so much that needs to be done.
My biggest obstacle is I’m 61 and unemployed. I want to be a part of getting our nation back on track.

Hi Cody! I am really glad that you want to get involved and I understand your quandary on where to start and exactly what to do. I still struggle with that issue myself. However, what you see as an obstacle could be your greatest asset. Although I know of the need to be gainfully employed, your current unemployment could be an advantage. This means that you can do research or go to local school board or local government meetings. Starting to show up and taking an interest is great. Volunteer in your community. Talk to young people about what is going on and how it could adversely effect them. What do you like to do? What are some things that you are good at? Do you like to write? Do research? Or can you (as my husband is fond of saying) talk the hind end off a mule? Figuring out where your strengths lie will help you to figure out where you can be most effective. The biggest thing is to remember to never give up hope. We all have to persevere. We all need to lift each other up in prayer and encourage each other to keep going. So, Cody, I want to encourage you to sit down and make a list of what you are really good at and from that list, look around your community and see where your strengths can be put to best use. There is no time like the present for us all to get involved. Find where you can serve both your community and the cause at hand the best. And if that involvement includes throwing your hat in the ring and running for a local office, I am sure your community would benefit from your knowledge. Again, Cody, I am very happy to hear that you want to set up and be involved in getting our nation back to where it should be. Thank you for loving your country enough to step up to the plate.
